It was “Perfectly Nice,” playing the comedic role of Mrs. Fairfax in the musical Jane Eyre, last month! I had lots of fun digging into the the personality of this big-hearted but often forgetful woman, which is quite different from the movie or book versions of Mrs. Fairfax. I relished how this show was full of strong female characters!

 

 

Few things are more exciting than singing a favorite Rodgers and Hammerstein song with a full orchestra! I had the pleasure of singing in a concert of favorites from their musicals with the amazing Ridgewood Symphony Orchestra in December!
